Summertime is perfect for boating, lounging by the pool and exploring the great outdoors. Of course, these activities are always better with a little booze. Not a beer drinker? Fear not. Latitude Beverage Company recently launched a new canned wine. Meet Lila Wines!
As the first ever Provence Rosé, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Italian Pinot Grigio in cans, Lila Wines are perfect for summer given their convenient packaging. Lila Wines are packaged in specially developed, eco-friendly cans engineered to maintain the quality of the wine inside. With an increased internal coating and a thicker wall than traditional aluminum cans, each Lila can is sealed with a unique wine lid to guarantee smooth, fresh taste. And unlike bottled wines, Lila cans do not pick up UV light from sitting on a shelf, making the wines last as long, if not longer than, their bottled counterparts.
I tried all three Lila Wines and really loved the sleek packaging. The bright colors and fun design just scream summer. Plus, talk about portability! The can is small and fits perfectly in your cooler. The size of the can also makes chilling the wine easier and more convenient than ever. For those of you who aren’t beer drinkers, Lila Wines are the perfect addition to your summertime cooler.
Lila Wines offers a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand. This wine is definitely perfect for lounging on the beach with its tropical flavors of grapefruit and passion fruit. Refreshingly dry, this wine is great to pair with chicken fresh off the grill and topped with cilantro and lime.
The Rosé is from Provence, France and is light, crisp and aromatic with aromas of fresh watermelon, strawberries and a hint of minerality. I enjoyed muddling some strawberries, blueberries and blackberries in my wine to pack a fruity punch.
The third offering by Lila Wines is the Pinot Grigio from Delle Venezie IGT, Italy. Mellow and round with aromas of tart green apple and citrus, the Pinot Grigio is the perfect choice when grilling out on a hot summer day because of its drinkability.
Give Lila Wines a try this summer by using their locator to find the cans near you. Drink up!
