Finback Brewery aims to make flavorful and complex beers. They focus on small batch artisanal brewing and use quality ingredients. The beers are fun and unique, and we highly recommend giving each beer a taste.
Known for it’s fun name, Cat Love is Finback Brewery’s Double IPA dry hopped with Azacca hops. This beer has an 8.6% ABV with notes of mango, tropical fruit, pear and apple. The smooth rounded bitterness and pine flavor of the beer also compliments the fruity notes.
Finback Brewery’s Smoke Detection is an English-style mild ale brewed with cherrywood smoked malt. With a 4.6% ABV, this beer has a bold smoky and earthy flavor with a toasty aroma reminiscent of cigars and tobacco paper.
Finback Brewery also has a barrel aging room and will be releasing unique beers in coming months. Their BQE (Brooklyn Queens Espresso) aged in bourbon barrels was a big hit and there are plans to bring this bold beer back. This 9.2% ABV beer includes cocoa nibs from Brooklyn’s Mast Brothers and coffee from Queens’ Native Coffee Roasters.
Exciting things are happening in this new Queens brewery!
